Assistant Professor Wilhelmina Woortman Bio
Wilhelmina has more than 20 years’ experience in primary, secondary and tertiary Education in several positions such as; school counselor/coach, manager of the whole intake process for new students, students’ well-being and academic progress.
Wilhelmina also has a professional background in Human Resource Management and has worked for several years in the corporate world as an HR-Interim Manager from her own business.
Wilhelmina has worked with international students in Australia since 2007. In 2012 she moved back to the Netherlands where she worked in the last few years in professional coaching and mentoring upcoming primary school teachers in Amsterdam, due to the serious shortage of teachers. Wilhelmina has returned back to Australia in 2023.
Wilhelmina holds a Bachelor of Education, BEs Sec, a postgraduate Diploma in HRM and a Masterclass in HR and Business Administration. She is a professional NLP Life and Business coach and a Mindfulness Teacher. Wilhelmina is author of her book, ‘Proud of my transgender child’ and supporting the community in equality in providing talks and helping parents.
